Vařte snámí; cook with us
This book was completed in 1983. Six hundred recipes cover the full range of the meal – hors d’oeuvres to desserts. Many are ethnically Czechoslovakian. In addition to food recipes, recipes and hints for household chores are included.
Dobré chutnání! Good eating!
The companion book, begun in 1994 and completed in 1996, parallels the arrangement of Vařte snámí with no recipe duplication. It indexes about 500 recipes of which some are ethnically Czechoslovakian. This book balances food categories. Six recipes come from Czech Republic families. With more emphasis on modern meals, it carries the cook into the contemporary kitchen. One alphabetical index is included.
Each book sells for $12.00, plus $3 each for shipping and handling.

The proceeds from the sale of the two cookbooks support the scholarship fund. Each May, scholarships are awarded to graduating senior high students to attend a college, university or technical school of their choice. Applying students must be children or grandchildren of Wisconsin Czechs members.
